This was a pretty tough one with all the amazing music coming out, and March is looking pretty stacked I’m not gonna lie.
Hannah Sandoz “O glory” Feb 14
This is a truly gorgeous headphone song with some amazing production and sense of space. Sandoz’s vocals are also top notch.
King Isis “MONKI” Feb 22
King Isis has a keen fucking ear for hooks, ’cause I don’t think I’ve heard a King Isis song without a great one yet. “MONKI” channels fierce and chill in equal measure.
Chaepter “Something About People” Feb 23
I guess it’s indeed the Naked Era. There’s a steady, artful melancholy to this track as well as “Post-Touch,” with this track really slowing it down, and wallowing in it.
Harrison Fjord “Bubinga” Feb 23
This song is a real trip, and a real bop, and just a good time I guess.
Red Scarves “Alice” Mar 1
This song is a blast, and who doesn’t like a “Name” song. I really dig the bouncy bassline and the upbeat stylings of the song, especially when it all comes together at the end.
