Justin HK is a multi-instrumentalist and singer-songwriter with no fear of exploration, lyrically or sonically. Recording in some way since 2013, Michigan artist Justin HK has taken numerous names through his various side projects (Rebel Prom Queen, Justin Hurst And The Existential Dread , The Existential Dead, The Existential Dread, and Justin Hurst) all solo projects recorded in some form of bedroom studio. He started recording as Justin H.K. in 2021 after marrying his wife Haley. Justin H.K. ‘s self titled debut in 2021 cemented an existential and sardonic style of lyricism that matched well with his brooding folk rock. With his further releases such as 2022’s Room and Sad Songs For SEXY People Justin H.K. developed an experimental style that morphs his numerous influences into a singular folk pop Frankenstein.
