April showers bring weird music. I’m very pleased to announce Justin H.K.’s next album “HEADROOM” arriving April 18, 2025. “HEADROOM” is a dynamic album with an experimental folk-rock core, and a dark, melodramatic theming that ties diverse sounds and stories together.
In an attempt to take a breath, and focus on quality and engagement for this and future Justin H.K. releases I’ll be slow dripping the singles for this release, as well as attempting a couple of low budget music videos. “Headroom” will be the lead single with an accompanying music video and will be released September 13, 2024. Next up is “Waiting,” also with accompanying music video, releasing November 22, 2024. The final single “Crybaby” releases March 7, 2025.

While I was filming for the “Headroom” music video I found a good opportunity to play through the song in the greenhouse, so uhh, here’s that.
Lyrics:
I like to go, where the lots of Headroom
I don’t breathe my own bad air
I like to go, where the skies are open
So I can stay where all I got to do is stare
I used to live a life, of a stone cold killer
Then I killed that part of me, left it behind
Now I can go where I can try to find the future
So I can stay where I can wait around to die
