I mean, my wife is having a baby, I just didn’t know how else to make the title work. But yeah, BABY H.K. COMING 2024!!!

So yeah, stuff is probably going to change a bit.

I am going to be the primary caretaker, so while I love doing my Dirt Witch Records stuff, I will have some duties that come first. I don’t plan on stopping much of what I do, other than probably eliminating video content for a bit. The way I’m able to make music is also going to change a little, so I’m going on a bit of a sprint right now as far as music creation. I’m specifically working on something called “Dad Jazz” that I would love to do some online collaboration for, so if you want to create something together, I’d love for y’all to reach out. (Can’t pay for a feature unfortunately, but will split any proceeds 50/50)

I’m still working on finishing my songs of the year list, and I’m foregoing albums of the year this year. HI 5 will likely come back for a bit before the baby comes, but no promises.

I also wrote a song for the upcoming kiddo that you can check out called “Mayby,” by Justin H.K. Some core singer-songwriter stuff because baby has me feeling inspired.

Last, and kinda least to be honest I’ve got “Blood & Dirt,” by Justin H.K. coming out Friday. I’m very stoked for this album, as it’s probably the most I’ve ever put into a single album, but you know, not as cool as an incoming child.
